Oleg Arapi

Oleg Arapi (born July 9, 1958 in Borisoglebsk) is an Albanian conductor and musician.[1][2][3]

He comes from a mixed Albanian-Russian family. He graduated with a degree in conducting from the Institute of Arts in Tirana in 1988. He continued his studies from 2004 to 2006 in the Moscow Conservatory in the class of opera and symphonic conducting, under the supervision of Leonid Nikolayev.[1]

He has conducted concerts in Italy,[4] Poland, Ukraine, Ecuador, China, Argentina, Russia, and beyond, collaborating with distinguished soloists such as Inva Mula and Josif Gjipali.[5]

In 2017 he performed with the orchestra Oskar Kolberg Świętokrzyskie Philharmonic in Poland.[6] He was awarded with the Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.[7]
