The Order for Services to the Fatherland (Armenian: Հայրենիքին մատուցած ծառայությունների համար շքանշան), sometimes rendered Order for Services to the Fatherland, is a state order of the Republic of Armenia.[1]

History
The order was established by the law "On the State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia" (Law ՀՕ-100-Ն), adopted by the National Assembly on 21 June 2014, signed by the president on 18 July 2014, and entered into force on 9 August 2014, replacing a similarly named order that had existed under separate legislation since 2005.[2]
According to Article 55, paragraph 16 of the Constitution of Armenia, state orders are conferred by the president of the republic, who issues a decree for each award.[1]
Degrees
The order has two degrees:
- First-degree Order for Services to the Fatherland;
- Second-degree Order for Services to the Fatherland.
The first degree is the higher of the two.[1]
The first-degree order is awarded to senior servicemen of the Armed Forces and other troops, senior officials of public and local self-government bodies, as well as citizens of Armenia and ethnic Armenians who are not citizens of the Republic. The second-degree order is awarded on similar grounds for other significant services to the state.[1]
Notable recipients
- Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, awarded the first-degree order in 2026 on the occasion of Republic Day, for outstanding services to the homeland.[3][4]
