Orienbank (Tajik: ҶСК “Ориёнбонк”) is one of the oldest banks in Tajikistan, and one of its largest financial institutions.

In 2008, the bank's chairman, Hasan Asadullozoda, was reportedly shot and killed by Rustam Emomali, the son of President Emomali Rahmon. Asadullozoda was Rahmon's brother-in-law and Emomali's uncle.[1] However, Asadullozoda was still alive as of 2017, when President Rahmon's daughter, Zarina Rahmon, was appointed Deputy Head of Orienbank, under Asadullozoda's leadership.[2]

In June 2023, the then-current deputy chairman of Orienbank, Shohrat Ismattuloev, was kidnapped and killed. Ismattuloev had been subjected to torture, and his body was found nearly two months later.[3][4]
