Oscar Reyes Martínez is an Italian weightlifter of Cuban origin. He is the 2023 World Champion and a three-time European Champion (2023, 2024, 2025).
At the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships in Bogotá, Colombia, Reyes placed fifth in the 81 kg category with a total of 351 kg.
In Yerevan, Armenia, at the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships, he won the gold medal in the 81 kg category with a total lift of 343 kg, earning small gold medals in both the snatch and the clean and jerk events.[1][2]
At the 2023 World Weightlifting Championships held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Reyes became world champion in the 81 kg category with a total of 356 kg. He also won a small silver medal in the snatch with 163 kg.
In February 2024, at the 2024 European Weightlifting Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, he won another European title with a total of 346 kg, claiming first place in both snatch and clean and jerk.
At the 2025 European Weightlifting Championships in Chișinău, Moldova, Reyes won his third consecutive European title in the 81 kg class, lifting a total of 349 kg (159 kg snatch, 190 kg clean and jerk).[3][4]
