Ovidia Meisn. is a genus of plants in the family Thymelaeaceae native to Bolivia and southern South America.[1] (Ovidia Raf. is a synonym for Commelina.)

As of September 2024, Plants of the World Online accepts two species:[1]

  • Ovidia andina (Poepp. & Endl.) Meisn. (synonym O. pillopillo (Gay) Meisn.) – southern Argentina and southern Chile
  • Ovidia sericea Antezana & Z.S.Rogers – Bolivia
