Pacific Garden Mission is a homeless shelter in the Near West Side of Chicago, Illinois founded in 1877.[1] Its co-founders are Colonel George Clarke and his wife, Sarah. Nicknamed "The Old Lighthouse", it is the largest homeless shelter in Chicago. Its website states that it is "the oldest continuously operating rescue mission in the country."[2]

Two famous evangelists who converted to Christianity as a result of PGM's efforts are Billy Sunday and Mel Trotter.
