Paracanthopoma cangussu is a species of freshwater ray-finned fishes belonging to the family Trichomycteridae, the pencil and parasitic catfishes, and the subfamily Vandelliinae, the haematophagic catfishes. This catfish is found in Brazil and was described in 2021.[2]
