Parafroneta ambigua is a species of sheet weaver spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]

This species was described in 1979 by A.D Blest from a male specimen. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]

Description

The male is recorded at 1.72mm in length. This species has an orange brown cephalothorax, yellow brown legs and a grey abdomen with white markings.[1]
