Pattampoochi (/pəttɑːmpuːtʃi/ transl. Butterfly) is a 1975 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. S. Prakasam, starring Kamal Haasan and Jayachitra.[1] The film marked the debut of Haasan as a leading actor,[2] and the directorial debut of Prakasam.[3][4] It was released on 21 February 1975.[5]
