Paul Ruiz Daza (born November 16, 1961) is a Filipino politician who served as Governor of Northern Samar from 2010 to 2013 and member of Philippine House of Representatives for Northern Samar's 1st congressional district from 2019 to 2025 and previously from 2007 to 2010.

Political career

He originally ran under the Liberal Party in the 2019 elections, winning against the Nacionalista Party, after the win, the opposition Harlin Abayon filed an electoral protest against the win, which was unsuccessful.[1] On December 29, 2020, Former president Rodrigo Duterte accused Daza of corruption although without evidence. Daza rejected the allegations.[2]

Personal life

He is the son of former representative Raul Daza.[3]
