Paul Lamont Shields Jr. (born January 31, 1976) is an American former professional football running back who played two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Scottsdale Community College and the University of Arizona.
Paul Lamont Shields Jr. was born on January 31, 1976, in Camp Springs, Maryland.[1] He attended Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona.[1]
Shields first played college football at Scottsdale Community College.[1] He then transferred to play for the Arizona Wildcats of the University of Arizona, where he was a two-year letterman from 1997 to 1998.[1] He caught two passes for 47 yards and one touchdown in 1997.[2] Shields rushed 15 times for 51 yards in 1998 while also catching one pass for nine yards.[2]
