Paulina Cruceanu (26 February 1865– 29 November 1921), was a Romanian pharmacist.[1][2] She was the first female pharmacist in Romania. She qualified with a bachelor's degree at the University of Bucharest, and worked in a series of hospital pharmacies before becoming head of a Medicines Depot at Iaşi for three years. Cruceanu obtained permission to open her own pharmacy, but before she was able to do so, she died after a traffic accident in which she lost both legs.
