Aderoju was educated at Bedford Modern School.[2] He played non-League football for Kempston Rovers and Biggleswade. On 5 January 2024, he signed an 18-month contract with Peterborough United following a trial spell.[3] He made his debut in EFL League One on 10 February, when he came on as an 87th-minute substitute for Archie Collins in a 5–2 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers.[4] He said "I thank God that I have been able to get to this point and hopefully it is the first of many appearances at this level".[5]
On 25 January 2025, following a spell with Boston United, Aderoju joined National League South side Farnborough on loan for the remainder of the season.[6]
On 7 July 2025, Aderoju joined National League South side Eastbourne Borough on a season-long loan.[7] After a successful first half of the 2025–26 season, with 20 goals in 28 games, Aderoju was recalled from his loan spell at Eastbourne Borough.[8]
On 7 February 2026, Aderoju scored his first league goal for Peterborough United in a 6–1 thrashing of Wigan Athletic.[9] The following month, he signed a new long-term contract with the club.[10]
