Penny Spencer

Penny Spencer is a British actress, remembered for her performance as coquettish schoolgirl Sharon Eversleigh (1968–1970) in the LWT television comedy series Please Sir! (1968–1972).[1]
She attended Coombe Girls School in New Malden, Surrey.[2]
Career
Spencer's earliest acting experience was with the amateur theatre group led by Buster Merryfield.[3]
In addition to Please Sir!, her TV appearances include UFO (1970)[4] and Public Eye (1972). Her films include The Whisperers (1967), The Best Pair of Legs in the Business (1973) and Under the Doctor (1976).
In 2017 and 2019, she was a guest at conventions organised by the Gerry and Sylvia Anderson appreciation group Fanderson,[5][6] and in 2018 appeared at a Please Sir! reunion event.[7]
