Arthur Percy Eccles (9 August 1883 – 4 October 1955) was a professional rugby league and association footballer who played in the 1900s. He played at representative level for Great Britain and England, and at club level for Halifax, as a wing.[2] He also played one season of association football for Bradford.
Rugby league
Eccles was the league's top try-scorer in the 1906–07 season with 41-tries.
Eccles won a cap for England while at Halifax in 1908 against New Zealand, and won a cap for Great Britain while at Halifax in 1908 against New Zealand
Association football
He played association football for Bradford in 1908 before returning to his "first love" of rugby in 1909.[4][5]
