The Peyton baronetcy, of Isleham in the County of Cambridge, was created in the Baronetage of England on 22 May 1611 for John Peyton, son of Robert Peyton MP (died 1590) and his wife Elizabeth Rich, daughter of Richard Rich, 1st Baron Rich. He served as Member of Parliament for Cambridgeshire, in 1593 and again in 1604.[1]

The 2nd Baronet also served as Member of Parliament for Cambridgeshire, during the 1620s.[2] The baronetcy became extinct in 1815 on the death of the 8th Baronet.[3]
