Philodromus brachycephalus is a species of spider in the family Philodromidae.[2] It is commonly known as the spotted running spider.[3]
Philodromus brachycephalus is known from Tanzania and South Africa.[2] In South Africa, it is known from four provinces including six protected areas, with an altitudinal range of 48 to 1,730 m (157 to 5,676 ft) above sea level.[3]
