"Piccola stella" (transl.Little star) is a song by Italian singer-songwriter Ultimo. It was released on 16 August 2019 by Honiro as the fifth single from the third studio album Colpa delle favole.[1][2]

As the singer-songwriter himself explained, this was the first song he wrote at the age of fourteen.[3] He had intended to include it on his previous two albums, Pianeti and Peter Pan, but he later decided to include it on his third album, believing it was the right choice:[4]

"It's the first song I wrote, when I was 14 or 15. Being able to include it on Colpa delle favole is a way of thanking myself for nine years.
I wanted to include it on my previous albums, too, but I felt like this was the right one."

Music video

The music video, directed by the singer-songwriter himself, premiered on 5 August 2019, on Honiro's YouTube channel. It was directed by Francesco Giorgi and Simone Mastronardi, and edited by Rocco Buonvino.[1] The video features footage from the 4 July concert at Rome's Stadio Olimpico.[5]
