Piotrowice Nyskie [pjɔtrɔˈvit͡sɛ ˈnɨskʲɛ] (German: Peterwitz)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Otmuchów, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[2]

The village has a seventeenth-century former bishop's palace which is currently being restored by the author Jim Parton.[3]

An inn run by Emanuel Otte, circa 1930. The town was then called "Peterwitz," having been part of Germany.
