Pllakë (Albanian definite form: Pllaka; Greek: Πλάκα, romanized: Pláka) is a village in Vlorë County, southern Albania.[1] At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality of Finiq.[2]

Etymology

The former name of the village was of Albanian origin: Memushbej[3] (Greek: Μεμούσβεη).[4]

Demographics

According to Ottoman statistics, Pllakë had 71 inhabitants in 1895.[4] The village is inhabited by Greeks, and the population was 489 in 1992.[5]
