Poggio Capanne is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Manciano, province of Grosseto. At the time of the 2001 census its population amounted to 101.[1]
History
Main sights
- Church of Visitazione di Maria (16th century), main parish church of the village, it was built in 1570.[3][4][5]
- Casa Luciani, one of the oldest buildings in the village, it was built in 1500, as indicated on the facade. It hosted also the canonica.[3][5]
- Old prison of Saturnia (16th century), it is situated next to the church in the main square of the village.[3]
