Pognano (Bergamasque: Pognà) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Milan and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) south of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,374 and an area of 3.2 square kilometres (1.2 mi2).[3]
