The Police Service Decoration (Spanish: Condecoración a la Dedicación al Servicio Policial) is a decoration of the Spanish National Police Corps whose purpose is to recognize the correct conduct of police officers as well as the dedication, loyalty and integrity in provinding police service to citizens and society, during certain periods of time.

This decoration was established in accordance with the order of minister Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba of 10 May 2011.[1]
Grades and concession
According to Order INT/1409/2011, of May 10, the decoration has four classes:[1]
- Badge. To honor police officers with 35 years of service who meet the requirements.
- Cross. For officers with 30 years of service.
- Commandery. To reward police officers with 25 years of service.
- Medal. To reward police officers that reach 20 years of service.
Requirements for concession
In addition to fulfilling the aforementioned years of service, it is essential to:[1]
- To be an active member of the National Police Corps at the time of the recognition.
- To have no uncancelled adverse entry in the personal file for serious or very serious offenses; as well as not being subject to criminal or disciplinary proceedings for the aforementioned offenses, on the date of compliance with the requirements for its granting and during the corresponding administrative processing.
All grades will be granted by order of the minister of the interior on the advice of an ad hoc committee. These decorations do not carry any economic compensation.[1]
Committee
A specific committee will be created to decide whether to award a decoration for police service. This committee will be integrated by representatives of:[1]
- The deputy director of Operations—second-in-command to the Director-General—.
- The Deputy Director-General for Human Resources.
- The Deputy Director-General for Logistics and Innovation.
- The Deputy Director General of the Technical Cabinet.
A representative of the Personnel Division of the Deputy Directorate-General for Human Resources will act as the committee's secretary. The Personnel Division will also be the body responsible for initiating and conducting the procedure.[1]
