Portia Arthur (born 7 January 1990) is a Ghanaian writer and reporter.[1][2] She launched her first book titled Against the Odds in July 2018.[3] She also started the Book Per Child Initiative, which aims to inspire young people to read by supporting them with educational materials and establishing reading clubs in various schools and churches.[1] Since 2022, she is the fashion editor for Yen News, following six years as a lifestyle editor for Pulse Africa in Ghana.

Arthur graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University in 2013, earning a B.A. in publishing Studies.[4][5] She continued to acquire management skills through Udemy courses, including PMP Certification Training.[6]
