It represents the dancer Anita Berber, a celebrity of the Weimar Republic, known for her scandalous performances and licentious lifestyle. It belongs to the collection of the Sammlung Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, and is on loan to the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Germany.[1]
