The Post Office Act 1953 (1 & 2 Eliz. 2. c. 36) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to the Post Office in the United Kingdom.[1]

Subsequent developments
The whole act was repealed by section 127(6) of, and schedule 9 to, the Postal Services Act 2000, which came into force on 26 March 2001.[3]
