Presidential standard of Syria

The use of such a standard in Syria dates back to 1941. The original version was in a similar version, but with slightly smaller stars and equal spacing that was consistent with the then-flag of Syria. It was relinquished after the formation of the United Arab Republic, but was readopted in 1961, following the restoration of the Second Syrian Republic. After the collapse of the Assad regime, the 1941–1958 and 1961–1963 standard was readopted in 2025, albeit with slightly bigger stars and more uneven spacing.^[1]

On 30 March 2026, the presidential standard was seen on the President's car in Berlin.^[2]
