Pasidh Vataniyapramote (Thai: พสิษฐ์ วทานิยปราโมทย์; born 10 January 2003),[1] known mononymously as Prince/Prince Vatani (Korean: 프린스), is a Thai singer and YouTuber based in South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy band GHOST9,[1] formed by Maroo Entertainment in 2020, and was briefly a member of the project group izx! under the stage name Windz,[2] formed under The Waves.[3]

He launched his official YouTube career with the launch of his personal channel Prince Vatani on 15 June 2025[4], also has an Instagram and tiktok Carrer.[5] where he uploads vlogs and digital content documenting the lifestyle logistics and realities of working as an active K-pop idol.[4][6]
Early life and Education
Prince was born Pasidh Vataniyapramote on 10 January 2003, in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand, as the youngest of three boys.[7] He studied piano at Siam Kolkarn Music School and learned to play instruments such as the guitar during his childhood.[8] While taking casual dance classes in Bangkok, a studio director discovered him and connected him with the CEO of Maroo Entertainment.[7] He bypassed standard public auditions, was recruited directly as a foreign member for an upcoming boy group, left high school to earn his GED and relocated to South Korea in November 2019.[7][1]
Upon arriving in Seoul with no prior knowledge of Korean, Prince began a grueling six-month training period under strict agency rules that restricted personal electronics, dating and unapproved outings.[7] He shared a four-room apartment with 11 trainees and two managers, carving out rare moments of privacy in the practice room showers.[7] Though he frequently told his parents during weekly phone calls that he wanted to quit, he pushed through monthly evaluations and ultimately debuted as a member of GHOST9.[7]
He graduated Berklee College of Music in May 10, 2025, with a Bachelor Of Arts in Music Composition for Flim, TV, and Games.[9][10]
Career
2020–2021: Debut and early releases
Prince entered the South Korean music industry in September 2020 as a vocalist and the first international member of the boy band GHOST9 under Maroo Entertainment.[1] The group's debut took place during pandemic-related restrictions, resulting in a distinct promotional launch where they performed their lead single, "Think of Dawn", from the mini-album Pre Episode 1: Door atop a Seoul skyscraper.[7][11][12][13][14]
During their initial months, the group maintained a frequent release schedule, putting out four mini-albums within their first half-year across the Pre Episode[15] and Now series. Early promotional concepts incorporated a fictional mythology centered on "Glies", described as spirit soulmates originating from the earth's crust that accompanied each member.[7]
2022–present: Subsequent activities and side projects
As their career progressed, GHOST9 transitioned away from their original conceptual lore to explore varied musical styles through subsequent releases,[12] including the Arcade series. In 2023, Prince participated alongside his group members in the idol survival program Peak Time.[16]
Outside of his primary group activities, Prince was briefly a member of the project group izx! under the stage name Windz, operating under The Waves. In 2025, he expanded his public profile by launching his official YouTube channel, Prince Vatani, sharing vlogs and content detailing his life and experiences as a foreign artist based in South Korea.

In 2025, Prince launched his personal YouTube channel, Prince Vatani, with his debut video, "the UNSPOKEN life of a Kpop Idol (im ok..)," on June 21, 2025.[4] establishing a direct platform outside of his agency's formal promotions. Through casual vlogs and commentary videos, he began documenting his daily experiences and sharing personal insights into the South Korean entertainment industry.[4]
His content documents the day-to-day realities and systemic pressures of the profession, beginning with his relocation to Seoul in late 2019 and the six-month training period that followed. Within these videos, he has discussed strict agency regulations, including curfews and restrictions on personal electronics, as well as the living arrangements of sharing a four-room apartment with eleven trainees and two managers.[7] He has also detailed the structure of monthly trainee evaluations, where performance rankings were posted on practice room walls, alongside the compressed production schedules required to record tracks and master choreography ahead of group comebacks.[7]
Beyond trainee logistics, his commentary addresses the physical and aesthetic standards of the industry. He has discussed intensive workout routines and weight-management practices, which contributed to broader public discussions regarding dietary pressures faced by performers.[23] Additionally, he has spoken about personal decisions regarding industry aesthetic expectations, such as undergoing nose surgery, while balancing these topics with practical explanations of backstage procedures, music show rehearsals and professional etiquette on set.[24][7][23]
