Gameplay
Unlike ZeptoLab's previous physics-based hit Cut the Rope, Pudding Monsters utilizes a sliding-block puzzle mechanic. Players slide individual pieces of pudding across a grid; once set in motion, a piece continues sliding until it hits an obstacle, the grid edge, or another pudding piece. The objective is to fuse all separate pieces into a single continuous monster structure. As the game progresses, new monster types introduce unique mechanics.[17]
