Rachel Kelly, Baroness Altrincham is a bestselling writer on mental health and wellbeing. Her books include Black Rainbow, Walking on Sunshine, The Happy Kitchen, Singing in the Rain, and You'll Never Walk Alone. The Gift of Teenagers: Connect More, Worry Less was published in May 2025 by Hachette.[1]

Kelly worked as a journalist for The Times newspaper in the UK from 1989 to 1999.[2] She now writes for The New Statesman,[3] The Guardian,[4] and The Sunday Times.[5] She has served as a commentator on the BBC.[6] She is an ambassador for SANE[7] and Rethink Mental Illness,[8] and runs wellbeing workshops for companies, schools and universities.
