Etymology
The genus and R. hitam are named after Orang Kayo Hitam (Rangkayo), a king involved in the founding of Jambi City. R. perkaso is derived from the Jambi Malay "perkaso" (powerful), taken from a poem about Rangkayo Hitam.[1]
