Narvel Felts recording

The highest-charting version is by American country music artist Narvel Felts. Released in 1975, it was the first single from his album Narvel Felts. The song peaked at No.2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and No.67 on the Billboard Hot 100.[3] It also reached No.1 on the RPM Country Tracks chart in Canada.[4]
