Rhaphidophora is the type genus of camel crickets belonging to the taxonomic tribe Rhaphidophorini. They can be found in India, China, Japan, Indo-China, Malesia, and Australasia.[2]
They are entirely wingless with flattened bodies and a convex dorsal surface. Their legs are relatively slender.[3]
