Rhett Owen Kouba (born September 3, 1999) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the York Revolution of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
Kouba attended El Reno High School in El Reno, Oklahoma.[1] As a senior, he went 6–2 with a 0.94 ERA and 79 strikeouts.[2] He then played two seasons of collegiate baseball at North Central Texas College and one season at Dallas Baptist University.[3] During his lone season at Dallas Baptist in 2021, Kouba appeared in 16 games (ten starts) and went 6–2 with a 2.77 ERA.[4] After the season, he was selected by the Houston Astros in the 12th round of the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[5]
