Rhopalosolen is a genus of green algae in the class Trebouxiophyceae.[1] It is found in freshwater habitats, and is epizoic or epiphytic on various substrates such as rotifers, nematodes, cladocerans, copepods, fungal hyphae, plants, or other algae.[2]
