Richard Lindsay Nicholson DSO (29 October 1882 – 1 November 1940) was a British captain of the Royal Navy. He served in World War I and is known for being a member of the Chief of Staff of HMS Iron Duke which served as the fleet flagship during the Battle of Jutland.
