Richland Township is one of fifteen townships in DeKalb County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,235, down from 1,333 at 2010,[4] and it contained 510 housing units.

History
Richland Township was organized in 1837.[5]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 23.58 square miles (61.1 km2), of which 23.5 square miles (61 km2) (or 99.66%) is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 km2) (or 0.34%) is water.[4] Burdick Lake, Depew Lake, Haynes Lake and Lintz Lake are in this township.
