Ritu Maheshwari

Ritu Maheshwari is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2003 batch. Since August 2025, she has served as the Secretary of Medical Health and Family Welfare for the Government of Uttar Pradesh.[1]

Early life and education
Career
Maheshwari joined the IAS in 2003.[4] She has held various administrative roles, including District Magistrate of Ghazipur and Divisional Commissioner of Agra.
Noida Authority tenure
During her tenure as the CEO of the Noida Authority (2019–2023), she oversaw several urban development projects. One of the notable events included the demolition of the Supertech Twin Towers in August 2022, which was executed following a Supreme Court order. Maheshwari stated that the demolition process was conducted successfully with the support of technical experts and relevant authorities.[5]
