Robert Steele (MP)

Robert Steele (c.24 February 1757 – 10 July 1817) was a British politician and judge who served as MP for Weobley.[1]

Steele was baptised on 24 February 1757.[1] He was a younger son of Thomas Steele of Westhampnett, Recorder of Chichester, and the former Elizabeth Madgwick of Cuckfield.[2] His elder brother was Thomas Steele, MP for Chichester.[3]

He was educated at Westminster School.[1]
