Robert Walmsley FRSE FRCPE FRCSE TD (24 August 1906 – 24 August 1998) was a 20th-century Scottish anatomist who served as Professor of Anatomy at the University of St Andrews.[1]
He was born in Greenock on 24 August 1906, the son of Thomas Walmsley, a marine engineer living at 59 South Street.[2] He was educated at Greenock Academy and at the University of Edinburgh, graduating MB ChB in 1930.[3]
