Robot wolf (Chinese: 机器狼) is a type of military robot based on legged models, designed and produced by Chinese defence firm Norinco as part of a robotic platform for the People’s Liberation Army[1][2].
While the PLA started deploying military robots since 2022 at the Sino-Indian border[citation needed], its usage increased from 2024[3][4][5]. Robot wolves also appeared in the 2025 China Victory Day Parade[6][7][8][9].
