Hendra Rahtomo (born 4 January 1970), better known as Romy Soekarno, is an Indonesian politician and businessman who is a member of the House of Representatives from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, serving since 2024. He is a grandson of first Indonesian president Sukarno and nephew of fifth president Megawati Sukarnoputri.
Romy Soekarno was born in South Jakarta on 4 January 1970 to Rachmawati Sukarnoputri and Martomo Pariatman Marzuki. Rachmawati is the daughter of the first president of Indonesia Sukarno and younger sister of fifth president Megawati Sukarnoputri.[1] Romy was Rachmawati's first child, before Rachmawati divorced and remarried twice, having two more sons.[2]
