Rupert Ignaz Mayr

Rupert Ignaz Mayr (1646 in Schärding – 7 February 1712 in Freising) was a German violinist, composer and Kapellmeister in Munich at the court of Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria.[1][2]

Throughout his career, Rupert Ignaz Mayr was a court musician and, for most of it, he was at the Munich court of the music-loving Elector Maximilian (II) Emanuel.
