Rwanda at the 2026 Commonwealth Games

Rwanda competed at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.[1][2][3] This marked the country's fifth participation at the games, after making its debut at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The King's Baton relay stopped in Rwanda in October 2025.[4][5][6] The Rwandan team competed in three sports.[7] The Rwandan team consisted of ten athletes competing in three sports (three men and seven women).[8][9]
Swimmer Jayden Ntwali was the country's flagbearer, and fellow swimmer Axela Echessah the baton bearer, during the opening ceremony.[10]
Florence Niyonkuru won bronze in the 10,000 meter final, Rwanda's first ever Commonwealth Games medal.[11][12]
