Sakkiassee Anaija (1913–1980)[1] was an Inuk artist. Anaija was known for his carvings in whalebone, antler, stone and ivory.[2][3] Anaija was born in the Netsilik territory of the Northwest Territories.[4]
His work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Canada,[4] the Carleton University Art Gallery[5] and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.[6][7]
