Salien Medhi

Salien Medhi (died 2016) was an Indian lawyer and politician, belonging to the Revolutionary Communist Party of India.[1][2] He was a state legislator in Assam 1967-1972.
Medhi entered the Guwahati High Court in 1962.[1] His legal career developed rapidly thereafter. He became a prominent member of the Guwahati High Court Bar Association.[1] As an RCPI leader he was closely linked to Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha.[1] Medhi helped Rabha during the latter's underground days.[1]
