Samantha Poling

Samantha Poling is a Scottish investigative journalist working for BBC Scotland and BBC Panorama.[1]

Raised in Helensburgh,[2] after graduation Poling joined the Northumberland Gazette in Alnwick as a trainee reporter.[2] She returned to Scotland in 1995, working on the Helensburgh Advertiser.[2]

In 1996, she moved to the national press, covering stories such as the Dunblane massacre and reporting from Paris on the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.[1][2]
