Samuele Segreto

Samuele Segreto (born 23 July 2004 in Palermo) is an Italian dancer and actor. He took on the lead role in Giuseppe Fiorello's film Fireworks[1] and took part in the 22nd season of Amici di Maria De Filippi, reaching up to the evening phase.

After starting to study modern dance and hip-hop in 2012,[2] Segreto debuted as an actor in 2016, taking the role of Sebastiano in At War with Love, directed by Pif.[3] In the same year, he becomes a TV dancer, taking part as a competitor in the Italian edition of Pequeños gigantes and as a member of the fixed cast of House Party.[2] In 2017, he enters the cast of a stage performance of The Nutcracker choreographed by Giuliano Peparini and held at the Forest National arena in Brussels.[4] In later years, he took part in several film and TV productions, such as the film Il mio corpo vi seppellirà and the TV miniseries L'Ora - Inchiostro contro piombo.

In 2022, he was selected as a contestant of the 22nd season of Amici di Maria De Filippi (where he took part a few years prior as a dancer in the evening phase of its 16th edition), taking part of Emanuel Lo's hip-hop team.[5] He successively appears in the evening phase of the program, where he was eliminated on the third edition on 1 April 2023 (also obtaining one year's worth of studies at the Ailey School of New York).[6] Simultaneously, Giuseppe Fiorello's film Fireworks was released, based on the Giarre murder in which Segreto plays the paprt of one of the protagonists.[7] His performance received positive praise from critics.[8][9]

In 2025, he took part in the Lux VideRAI miniseries Sandokan playing the role of Emilio, aka Italiano, a fictionalized version of Emilio Salgari in his youth. He was auditioned by the producers while in New York in 2023.[10]

In March 2026, he returned to Amici, in its 25th season.
