Sandim

Sandim is a civil parish in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Sandim, Olival, Lever e Crestuma.[1] However, on March 14, 2025, the merged parishes were restored to their original characteristics by Law No. 25-A/2025, and therefore the parish of Sandim was reinstated.[2] The population in 2011 was 5,938,[3] in an area of 13.56 km2.[4]
