Sanyal (Bengali: সান্যাল) is a native Bengali surname, commonly found among the Bengali Hindus of the Indian state of West Bengal and in Bangladesh. Sanyal surname mostly belongs to the Barendra clan of Bengali Brahmin community.[1]
